Me and my husband stayed here because we were going to a concert. We wanted a break from the kids too lol. The location of this hotel is simply amazing. Everything so close by. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough, very informative. The building is so lovely, really old and quirky.
The room we had was cozy and clean.
It is a bit noisy...but you are in the centre of Nottingham.
It didn't bother us at all. Slept so well because the bed was so big and comfy.
The breakfast was yummy too. They did full English, fresh fruit, toast, yogurts, pastry and cereal. Lots of choice.
The guys working the breakfast shift were really nice too.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Also the pub next door is lovely for a cheeky pint.

Thanks for having us X

The location next to Paddington station, ideal for those who need to catch a flight from Heatrow. And this time the room was as requested in the reservation. The 1st stay at 08.11 we were given an inferred room when booked.

We booked into the Mercure after looking at all Hotels within the City Centre and liked the look of this hotel. We had booked to go and see the Panto at the Theatre Royal and decided to stay over the night. We booked direct with the hotel which worked out a lot cheaper than Booking.com. Parking in the Lace Market Car Park was simple and a 2 minute walk to the Hotel. We checked in at 2pm and met with Peter on reception who was friendly and helpful and informed us we had been upgraded to a Privelage King room. The room was excellent, nice and big and the shower superb. I have read reviews complaining about noise but if you are booking into a City Centre Hotel you have to expect it, we did experience some noise but nothing to complain about. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and one of the best we have had and plenty of choice and the young waiter polite and courteous. We will definitely use this hotel again. Great place, great location and fantastic service.

On arriving at Mercure Hotel George Street Nottingham the staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for me. The room was super very clean and very well presented could not ask for better. The location of the hotel was great.
I would certainly use this hotel again and would definitely recommend.
