Amazing hotel and staff
Great stay at the Mercure Nottingham. The hotel is right in the center of town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Thank you so much to Bruno and William who helped me with a complex booking and answered all my questions.
Excellent location
We always try to stay here as it is located in the heart of the city, friendly and clean. Breakfast is very good although we didn't have it on this trip. It is a pity that Nottingham City Council have stopped subsidising the local car park when staying at any hotel as we have to drive to get to the city.
What’s not to love!
Love this hotel! Such a great city centre hotel with really interesting decor and amazing staff. We were lucky enough to stay in room 503 which is huge and has a separate living area. There was a little noise from outside but it was a lively night in Nottingham so to be expected. Really hoping to come back and spend more time here! 😁
Can't wait to go back!
I couldn't be any happier with our stay! From the moment we got there, till the moment we checked out.. Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. I was hesitant and anxious to go to a different city alone with my daughter, who is only 5, but we were made to feel so welcome, and we fell in love with the hotel. Not to mention the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, fabulous location, and gorgeous room. We were able to visit so many different places without even bothering to use any transport. Honestly, I could go on.. Thank you for having us in your luxurious suite. :)

A must stay for Nottingham City Centre.
Since my stay many years ago the beautifully redesigned George Hotel looks spectacular, boasting a boutique feel, the rooms have all the usual amenities you’d expect plus many more. Little touches like ear plugs, mini fridge and Nespresso gives it a much more luxurious feel. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and all my needs were attended to. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
Will on Recpetion was Great :)
Peter and Will on reception were great, and the hotel felt more like a boutique hotel than a large chain, will stay again. Great location for some great bars and restaurants . Also upgraded which was a pleasant surprise
Fantastic hotel, lovely staff
This property is full of character and characters. William and Peter were a delight to talk to on arrival after a long journey. The property is centrally located with excellent transport options on the doorstep to travel around. Hospital is 30 mins bus trip (I wasn't ill I was working there!). An ambulance will get you there quicker!!!! Fantastic property. I will make sure work books me into here again

Give it a chance
Visiting Nottingham for our first couples break away we decided on the Mercure hotel, as seeing it posted up fitted my partners idea of quirky. On arriving at the hotel we were not disappointed as from the outside it’s very deceiving with a completely different interior. We were swiftly booked in by the front of house staff who were more than helpful and cheerful given the temp outside at the time. On getting to our room I was slightly underwhelmed by what I had paid for, which was not what I had expected from the pictures posted (being fully aware that not all rooms will reflect pictures). ...
