Excellent Stay
Booked a stay last year due to Covid had to re-arrange to this August Sabrin (operations Manager) was amazing with this, we had to re-arrnage quite a few times and she was more than happy to help and was very warm and friendly. Hotel was lovely there was 20 of us staying and we all had a lovely time with no issues. Would highly recommend stopping, and will defiantly go back on our next work night out.
Excellent city centre conference location
For a number of years we have used the Mercure Nottingham as a weekend base for a course. We were among the first to be welcomed back for such an event after lockdown and found the arrangements made for the new situation to be very helpful. The staff were exceptionally helpful and worked very hard to make us welcome and to provide us with really good breakfasts and dinners. Full of character this unique city-centre hotel is to be highly recommended.
Very comfortable Hotel
The Mercure is in a good central location. The room was very comfortable with everything you would expect. Very nice breakfast. We found all the staff attentive friendly and helpful. There was clear instructions to the car park. Overall we were very satisfied.
fantastic anniversary stay
we arrived early (11.30am) and left our luggage before going out into the city to explore which the staff happily allowed us to do. very quirky decor inside which i loved as opposed to the general blandness of chain hotels. it is very central with lots of bars, restaurants and shops right on the doorstep which was great. when we came back check in was smooth and staff we encountered very friendly. as an added bonus we were upgraded (we didn't ask for this the very kind person on reception asked why we were here and we told them our 8th wedding anniversary0 he said there was one unbooked and we were very pleased. our room was 505 right on the top floor with lots of space, storage and a very large bed. it also came with slippers and robes and complimentary refreshments. we also had breakfast which was fine as hotel breakfasts go although we didn't have to wait a few times for things to be replenished and for some unknown reason on the 2nd morning the fire was on making it very warm on an already unseasonably hot September day.
the only downside to the room for me was the shower was very slow and not much power at all. other then that it was a great stay and we would definitely not hesitate to stay here age should we visit Nottingham.
A perfect stay
The moment we walked through the door and received the warmest welcome from Sabrin on the reception we knew that this stay would be exceptional. She really set the scene for magical stay. The time was spent with a warm welcome and informing us of the local places to visit.
A real charachter of a hotel with a boutique feel. The rooms were very stylishly furnished. The location in the centre of Nottingham was perfect for getting out and about.
A perfect stay.
Again thank you to Sabrin and the rest of the team at the Hotel.
great location excellent staff
My family and I stayed for one night in August, we found the staff to be attentive and very nice, the breakfast was well stocked with a great selection of food, the surroundings were very clean and comfortable, The rooms were well presented and the hotels location was excellent for a day in the city, less than 2 minutes from the car park and the same to the city centre. there were loads of really cool shops for clothing and eating within a minute and less from the hotel. we will definatly stay again.
Fantastic location and wonderful service
I booked one night but decided to stay an extra night. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is situated perfectly in amongst the night life and restaurants. The reason for my review is Jack. He was so lovely and polite (the girl who was serving could learn a thing or two from his service). He was smiley, helpful and attentive to our needs. So a big thank you to Jack you made our morning. Also thanks to the reception staff as they was all so helpful and lovely. Really made our stay that bit more special :) very happy
Really nice staff, excellent manager
My husband and I stayed in the hotel in May, it was during covid. Great location, very central.
We booked a room for my daughter for a birthday/end of uni celebratio in July. Chris Butler and the staff went out of their way to make it special. They had a lovely room and were given a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely touch. They said the staff were wonderful and they had an amazing time. So belated but huge thank you to everyone there for making sure they had a great time
