Ideal location in Nottingham centre
This is a very good hotel in the centre of Nottingham, ideal for the theatres and shopping. Very friendly staff, the rooms are ok to excellent depending on the type, breakfast is excellent. No car park but parking 3 minutes away and hotel has reduced rate.
Loved our stay
Brilliant all round! A wonderful breakfast and comfy bed. Centrally situated so easy to find all the key attractions in Nottingham. Our second stay here and will definitely stay again. Could not recommend enough.
Clean, tidy, friendly. Loved it.
Nice friendly staff, both St reception and all waiting staff. Breakfast was very tasty with a buffet, all you can eat style. Very close to all attractions in the town centre. Only gripe was the one way system bus routes, but that's hardly a hotels fault.
Lovely hotel
The hotel is in a great position right at the heart of the city. The building is full of history and quirkyness. The rooms are nice and clean with all the facilities you would expect from this type of hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to the housekeeping and the restaurant staff, for me it really makes a hotel when the staff are like this. The breakfast was well worth the cost and was well cooked and presented.
Nothing But Thieves… although the Mercure is anything but!
Unreal experience, the concert and the hotel!
Sabrin and her staff were outstanding. Sabrin took any opportunity to go above and beyond conventional hospitality and make our stay memorable. Thank you!
Overnight Stay
Beautiful hotel, brilliant location for arena and shopping, spotlessly clean with comfy beds, air con if needed. amazing breakfast ! Easy check in and check out with friendly staff, Wetherspoons straight across the road, Would definitely stay again.
Central and friendly
Nice reception, good quality room - central location
Sabrin was very polite and helpful, whilst awaiting my Pizza delivery we chatted and she was engaging and professional.
I would stay at this hotel again
Thanks and best wishes ……………………
Weekend stay in Nottingham
Our stay at Mecure Nottingham Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Lovely room, we did upgrade to superior room. Excellent location, hub of thriving restaurant scene, with convenient of site parking which was subsidised from £20 to £10 a day. Plus breakfast was everything you would expect and more. However the staff were the icing on the cake, they could not have been more friendly and attractive. In particular Sabin, who arranged the most sumptuous afternoon tea for us, due to kitchen staff shortages forcing the closure of the hotel restaurant.
One thing to note. It is a city centre hotel so street noise is an issue but that can't be a reflection on the hotel.
Great night away.
Stayed here and had a brilliant time. We had a voucher given as a Christmas present to include a three course meal but because the restaurant was closed they upgraded us to a Suite, provided afternoon tea and a bottle of procesco as an alternative . The afternoon tea was better than the one we had for our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Betty's Tea Room in Harrogate. We highly recommend the Hotel for it's location and friendly staff.
University hunt
Went to Nottingham to look at some universities. We stayed in the Mercure and to be honest we always stay here. It’s right in the centre of all the night life but even though it is still quiet as they have extra glazing in the windows. Friendly staff great shower great location
