Me and my boyfriend stayed in the mercure for 3 nights for a get away it was all round great, great customer service from the lovely staff Sophia and Darren, great location because everything you need is around you right in the city centre, everything was walking distance and across the road was a weatherspoons for all you weatherspoon lovers like me and my boyfriend. The hotel was very funky and had great style which me and my boyfriend loved it was very youthful, bright and modern which is right up our street. We chose the city pad type
Of room which was perfect if you wasn’t spending as much time in your room because we was mainly going out and exploring, however if we came back we would definitely try the standard room in which it was bigger. Thankyou for having us mercure it was great.
Lovely hotel with great staff
The hotel was perfect for our visit to the cricket match. The lady at reception was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of a high standard and the serving staff went out of their way to help with coffee, tea, food and juices. Our young children, my wife and I loved staying at the hotel and will certainly rebook when going to the next match.
3 night break
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mercure. Very friendly staff. Location was great and we will definitely come back. We hope to be back and do a lot more as we did not realise so much history.

Impromptu stop over
Decided at the last minute to extend a shopping trip. Called the reception and found me a double room straight away.
Check in was so easy and staff were lovely.
Room was small but very elegant and exceptionally clean. Drink making facilities always a bonus.
Location is perfect. In the middle of Lace Market but so quiet at night.
Will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.
Pleasant Stay
We stayed at the Mercure on Friday 13th August as we were going to the theatre. Checkin was very good, the staff were very pleasant and polite. Our room was upgraded and was very spacious, clean with plenty of storage. The only downside was it was a little dark. We had a lovely breakfast the morning after. All in all a very nice hotel, close to the city centre and only a 20 minute walk to the train station. We would recommend it and very likely stay there again

A Gem In The City Centre
1st Time Staying At This Hotel as I was staying to attend a show at the Portland Centre, It was busy when i went with Hen & Stag Do’s in full swing around the city but this hotel was grand. a stones throw from the bars & shops the staff from the check in to breakfast to checkout were brilliant and made sure that my stay here was great my and my friend had a twin room and the beds were comfy and breakfast served buffet style was great and this hotel has adapted well post-COVID will consider staying again next time I’m in Nottingham.
Outstanding Customer Service, Perfect Location
I stayed here for a weekend away and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Sabrin promptly answered all my queries when booking and all the staff friendly and knowledgable. The rooms are clean and tidy with modern accommodation and excellent location, for train and tram. The breakfast was fantastic and service outstanding. Will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Wonderful service in historic hotel
I’ve stayed at the Mercure Nottingham before for business. This doesn’t always give you a flavour of how comfortable the stay will be when it matters. We are in an era of exceptionally pricey UK travel, with so many of us looking to wake up anywhere that isn’t the four walls we’ve been looking at for well over a year. So I chose familiarity and from the warmth we received when we walked in, I knew we’d made the right decision.
Great staff who saved our weekend!
Myself and my friend checked into the Mercure hotel the weekend just gone. Unfortunately we had been let down by an air bnb and needed somewhere to stay urgently. It was already 10pm at night and we were quite emotional after travelling hours to get to the city centre. We were greeted by Sophia and Darren on reception who instantly cheered us up and made us feel safe and relieved when they said they had a room available for us. Not only did they go above and beyond to get us the best room, they calmed us down and done their best to get our weekend back on track. I would 100% stay with them again. Nothing is too much to ask for with the Mercure staff and the friendly faces were just what we needed.
