Mercure Hotel, Nottingham
Arrived at the hotel after parking in a nearby car park. Check in quick and efficient, friendly helpful staff. Small room with a double bed, not ideal for 2 people but since I was alone it was not problem. Slept surprisingly well. Breakfast is self service but freshly prepared and more than adequate with English and continental choices. Hotel has some history, the internal staircases are original and many famous people have stayed there including Charles Dickens. There is a pub as part of the building and a Weatherspoon's immediately across the road and many restaurants nearby. A Sainsbury's store is within a minutes walk. Nice hotel in the centre of Nottingham.
Full of character in an amazing location!
Amazing location right in the heart of the vibrant Lace Market district. Full of character steeped in history, especially since my husband is an avid Notts County fan!
Perfect from start to finish
The location was spot on, a little noisy at night time but still fell asleep but that was the only slight negative. Would 100% stay at this hotel again👍
Lovely duty manager
Amazing stay here for our wedding anniversary on 9/7/24. The duty manager was lovely and upgraded our room as it was a special occasion 😊 Thank you so much, we really appreciate how you went out of your way to do this for us! Great suite and great location!
Very Good
The central location. I know the city and chose it. Usually I stay with friends but they were away so it exactly met my needs. The bed was comfortable. It was just right.
Exceptional

Mercure hotel nottingham
Very nice hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly...the room was adequate and clean..breakfast was really..really ..nice!...we asked to leave our suitcase at reception whilst we went shopping( very central for that) ..it gets tagged and put in a secure area..we stayed in room 217..and the only slight niggle..was we could hear the music from one of the bars..until gone 1am ...don't know if it was the hotel or a very close one tho....we gave up trying to find lace Market car park...and opted for stoney Street car park.. which is very very close to the hotel ..and they have a physical machine for the non techno.. its only cards tho..no cash...all in all...would recommend this hotel
Nottingham
Loved this hotel from the moment we walked in. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We were impressed with our room - large and spacious. Bed super comfy and large. Bathroom was impressive - well maintained and very clean with luxurious feel. It was quiet and with black out curtains slept very well. It is in perfect location and everywhere was super close. Many eateries and pubs or shops.
