"Historic building right in the centre of Nottingham. Quirky rooms in keeping with its age. There are some bits that are needing updating, carpet ripped, marks on walls, but it was clean, tidy and great value for money for its location and what we needed. The parking is a 2 minute walk to Lace Street car park."

Excellent position
very comfortable room we where going to see Strictly come dancing at Nottingham arena and it was just round the corner hotel in a brilliant location, also the staff where very helpful ,will definetely stay there next year.
Unique location in the city centre
The best of Nottingham's steep history is quite literally on your doorstep ready to explore making the hotel a unique location in the city centre. However, for me it's the team that really make the hotel stand out from the crowd. Expect the warmest welcome, expert knowledge of the city, together with a real sense of being there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Really hard to put in words the extent of support I've experienced overall, warm, friendly, safe, pretty much like an extended family. Wonderfully recommended, wonderfully different and definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!
A great night at tge Mercure
Front line staff were very welcoming and helpful especially for someone with walking difficulties. The room was exceptional, clean, spacious of excellent quality and the hotel is in a great location.

Good location, within walking distance of places to eat and places to visit. Comfortable rooms, and the bath was especially appreciated.

Stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Location was the best I’ve had when staying in a city. Room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was really good and could help myself to as much or as little as I wanted. Staff were really nice. Very chatty and friendly unlike some hotels I’ve been in. Really good. I’d certainly try other Mercure Hotels now after having stayed at this one.
Fab hotel
Fab hotel. Stayed 2 nights for work. Nice big room with coffee machine and fridge. Staff really nice and friendly. Great location for bars and restaurant. Will defo stay again.
