Festival season is back in Nottingham!
It’s the long-awaited return of festival season in Nottingham and boy don’t we know it! After the necessary break for the last few years most festivals are back with a vengeance and Splendour Music Festival is no different. If anything, it’s come back with more tenacity than ever as it now upgrades to become a full weekend event!
Adding a second day means double the stage time, this enabled the organisers to make Nottinghamshire’s biggest music festival a real contender. The line-up is stacked with headliners playing absolute belters from the last forty years, the likes of Richard Ashcroft, Supergrass, Craig David presents TS5, Anne-Marie, The Human League, Razorlight, The Vamps, Ocean Colour Scene, Happy Mondays, Belinda Carlisle, and many more are set to grace the stages at both Wollaton Hall and the Deer Park. Staying true to the recipe that makes Splendour Festival in Nottingham a hit with thousands of revellers, the line-up skilfully blends an eclectic mix of newer acts, Splendour debutantes and established heavy hitters across both days.
Craig David joins the Saturday bill while Anne-Marie, The Human League and Razorlight lead the way on Sunday’s Main Stage. Ocean Colour Scene, Happy Mondays head up the new additions to the Sunday Confetti Stage.
Famed R&B singer Craig David joins Britpop legends Richard Ashcroft and Supergrass with his ‘Present TS5’ show for the Main Stage on Saturday and is currently enjoying a well-deserved comeback in a career that has seen the star sell over 15 million albums worldwide, score 16 top ten hits and achieve multi-platinum status in over 20 countries.
If you’re coming to the festival and looking for somewhere to stay then look no further than Mercure Nottingham City Centre to hang up your dancing shoes once you’re done partying. If you’re just passing through the city, we highly recommend making your way to the festival or the surrounding areas and truly immerse yourself in Nottinghamshire’s biggest (and in our opinion best) music festival.
Splendour Festival takes place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th July 2022 across Wollaton Hall and Deer Park.
