27 August to 2 September 2018
The Robin Hood Festival returns for its 34th year in 2018 at Sherwood Forest.
Organised this year by the RSPB, expect a fun filled week-long festival that has something for everyone! You can plan your day using the daily programme sheets or meander through the forest at your leisure enjoying a truly fantastic festival experience.
There will be lots to keep your children entertained, from storytelling to medieval music and performances throughout the day. There will be clues along the trails to help children find Robin Hood. While Robin himself will be battling with the Sheriff of Nottingham, so be sure to watch out for them skirmishing near the Major Oak!
There is lots of wonderful nature to discover in the forest too, so why not get involved in some nature related activities such as bug hunting? Throughout the week, there will also be the chance to take part in some Wild Challenges, set by the RSPB and the Woodland Trust.
