Nottingham Light Night returns for 2023 installation!
Returning for it’s fourteenth instalment, Nottingham Light Night 2023 is set to return the first weekend of February and is going to be bigger and better than ever. Attendees to this years event can expect to see innovative, interactive and engaging installations, performances and even get the chance to take part in activities throughout the city centre. Annually this free family event in Nottingham can attract anywhere up to twenty five thousand people and has amassed a social media reach of six hundred thousand plus over the years.
The annual event is organised by three local organisations, Nottingham Events, Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID) and It's In Nottingham. Nottingham Light Night 2023 also has the potential to gain additional public funding from Arts Council England.
The overall aim of Nottingham Light Night is to improve the night time economy throughout the City Centre, bring local BID partners together to create a city-wide event, to encourage pride in the local community and spark joy during Winter, to create a high quality art event in the city of Nottingham that will attract people from all over the country and to create a fun event for all the family.
