The Nottingham Industrial Museum was awarded the “Nottinghamshire Heritage Site of the Year” in 2012.
A wide display of cycles, motorcycles and motor cars are available to see. The museum also houses an operational beam engine, which is extremely unique.
They museum is open every weekend and welcome groups and families to their five galleries of object reflecting local industries like mining, railways, cycles, motorcycles, lace, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, tobacco and printing.
The museum is now run by interactive and motivated volunteers that are willing to make sure you have a fun and educational time.
They have various events at the museum such as film screenings, craft activities, art talks and hands on craft workshops.
