Nottingham’s Beer and Cider Festival returns to the Motorpoint Arena next month, from 9th to 12th October. With over a thousand different real ales to choose from, Nottingham’s festival has more draught real ales than any other beer festival in the world!
Experience the Motorpoint Arena as you’ve never seen it before, with the beer festival taking place both indoors and outdoors! Some of the bars will pop up on the indoor ice – covered and insulated, of course – but there’s also two large outdoor areas: the Backstage Beer Garden and Bolero Square. Both outdoor venues offer brewery bars, tasty food stalls and live music, with areas for smoking or vaping, too. With two outdoor stages, there will be non-stop music all day: the Backstage Village Stage showcases both festival favourites and new artists, while Bolero Square’s Acoustic Stage offers the chance to hear talented artists in an unplugged, intimate setting.
New for 2019 are the ‘Tutored Tastings’, where you can learn more about beer and cider, or discover why cheese and chocolate taste so excellent alongside beer. With several unusual and rare beers at the “craft bar”, vegan options, and a wide range of gluten-free ales, you may well find a new perfect pint! There’s a wide range of ciders and perries on offer, too, so there’s plenty to stimulate your tastebuds, even if beer isn’t your favourite tipple.
Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena is only a five-minute walk away from us at the Mercure Nottingham, so your journey to the festival couldn’t be easier!
