Carlton Male Voice Choir - Bands in the Park - Nottingham Arboretum
This year Nottingham’s Green Flag award winning Arboretum has been hosting a string of free concerts in Nottingham which sadly come to an end on Sunday 18th December with the final show being performed by the Carlton Male Voice Choir and will run from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
Not only are the Carlton Male Voice Choir one of the only choirs in the region that can boast having an original record deal but they also champion the fact that they enjoy maintaining a wide array of songs ranging from classic to pop, ancient to modern, sacred to secular and everything in between. The choir renews its repertoire annually, ensuring that the music they perform is able to keep their audiences on the edge of their seats and singing along loud and proud.
Carlton Male Voice Choir consists of about sixty five members, ranging from all ages, the choir is constantly attracting new members ensuring the longevity of the choir itself and since starting in 1908 is able to boast an impressive history.
The choir prides itself on performing a wide range of repertoire at a high quality level consistently, continually challenging its own standards with professional management which embraces change, being supportive and inclusive to singers from all walks of life and backgrounds whilst thriving on a solid social culture for all its members.
