Get ready for a spook-tacular celebration in Nottingham this Halloween! Old Market Square will be transformed into ‘Old Market Scare’ from 25th to 31st October, with thrills for both young and old; and, with seasonally scary events at both Wollaton Hall and Newstead Abbey, you’ll be spoilt for choice this Halloween!
Head to Nottingham’s scariest square, right in the heart of the city, where you’ll find spooky family rides and attractions, a giant pumpkin to take selfies with, plus a plethora of eerie entertainment! There’s plenty of Halloween-themed food stalls, too, plus a ghostly bar serving witches’ potions and cocktails. New for 2019 is Horror Hotel, a live-action scare maze: enter a twilight world of Victorian grandeur as you undertake a chilling, labyrinthine journey towards ‘Room 13’. This purpose-built, high-end, two-floor maze abounds with scary surprises, spookily-dressed live actors and chilling twists and turns around every corner! Are you brave enough to enter…?
If you want to venture further afield, there’s an array of events taking place outside Nottingham’s centre, too. Newstead Abbey boasts a ‘Bat Trail’, ‘Ghostly Tales’, ‘Family Twilight Tours’ – and, for the very brave, ‘Meet The Ghosts’; while Wollaton Hall rivals with its ‘Pumpkin Trail’, ‘Ghost Walk’, and its Halloween music event, ‘Stealth’.
With events for all ages, you’ll find something suitable whether you’re enjoying an evening out with the family or looking to be truly terrified! The Mercure Nottingham is located right in the heart of the city centre, placing you in prime position to enjoy Old Market Square, and within easy access of both Newstead Abbey and Wollaton Hall. Join the celebrations – if you dare…
