The Exchange has been at the centre of Nottingham retailing for the past 85 years. It’s the city’s oldest shopping arcade. The centre now has around 17 exclusive stores offering designer labels in fashion, art, gifts and home goodies.
It has two good restaurants as well, for the foodie in every shopper.
The Exchange buildings were constructed between 1927 and 1929, making it Nottingham’s first shopping centre. The Prince of Wales was the one who inaugurated the centre back in 1929.
Today, in 2019, The Exchange is the city’s most exclusive speciality shopping centre, with it’s stone walls and magnificent 200 feet high done, making it a must-see destination for lots of visitors and regular shoppers every year.
Beauty and fashion bards like Bobbi Brown, Crabtree & Evelyn, Dr Martens, Oasis, Radley are just a few stores out of many that the Exchange has to offer.
