The Attenborough Nature Reserve is a nature reserve at Attenborough, Nottingham around seven kilometres from the city centre.
There are a number of activities that one can indulge in at this reserve. While you’re on a trail, you could spot some wildlife that include exotic birds and a few animals.
They host special monthly nature walks for people who might be interested in knowing a little more about the flora and fauna in the particular area.
Dr David Attenborough has said, “Everybody needs to have a lifeline to the natural world, and as our towns and villages become larger, they’re becoming increasingly hard to find…the survival and flourishing of places like this demands continuous work and attention.”
The Reserve is a perfect getaway from the city life and is suitable to just set into nature for a few hours. They host a number of courses, events and things to do for adults, kids and families.
There is even a shop on-site, making it ideal for a few souvenirs and must - haves for the experience.
